一则故事
从前，有一间学校，特别之处就是这间学校是建在一座山上，而有一班优秀的学生，班级在山顶。每天清晨，都有飞机，直升机等把这班少爷小姐送到山顶，可说是真幸福。可惜，老师们唯有老老实实地爬上山教课。而其中一位老师，是一位年岁差不多60的老先生。从教课第一天开始，都没有什么人留意听他讲课，“随便啦”，“没有用的啦”，时常听到的字眼。有一位女同学问一位男同学：“呃i，如果我给你一个工作，整天对着墙壁讲话，赚到的钱也不是很多，你肯做吗？”男同学答说：“傻的咩，谁要哦？”女同学二话不说，把视线抛在正在教课的老师。在教课最后一天，他在一大早自个儿爬上山，在白板上写下：
“On 21.2.07, the first day when I entered the class, I found that 5 Science Zhong was an organized and disciplined group of students, who were eagerly waiting to learn.
My subsequent observations confirm my above findings. In the class, the tables and chairs are neatly and orderly arranged, white board is always clean…and students are keen to learn.
Management is basically getting things done through people. In 5 Science Zhong, it only reflects that every student has a job to do and every job to be done has a student to undertake and be responsible.
Well done, 5 Science Zhong. May success be with you at all times.”

Pre-U Scholarships
1. Taylor's University College - National Scholarships 2008- The National Scholarship programme was introduced in 2005 with the objective of providing tertiary scholarship opportunities to students who have academically well in schools. More than 250 students have benefited from this scholarship programme each year since its inception.
- The scholarship programme is open to all SPM students sitting for their examinations in 2007. Applications are based on school’s forecast/ trial examinations results.
- Deadline for applications: 21 December 2007

3. International Baccalaureate Diploma(IB) Scholarship August 2008 Intake- The International School of Kuala Lumpur is offering two International Baccalaureate scholarships to Malaysian Citizens who will complete the SPM exams in 2007.The scholarship, worth over RM 100,000.00 each will cover tuition fee for the two-year course beginning August 2008 inclusive of the external examination fee.
- Candidates must have excellent academic records at SPM. For instance, they should have an aggregate of not more than 10 and not less than an A2 in any of the individual subjects in SPM. Candidates can apply using their final term exam results.
- The candidates should also excel in extra-curricular activities and have demonstrated a commitment to community service.
- Applicants must not be holding any other financial award from another organization and they must be willing to provide evidence of financial need. Only students who fulfill the above criteria are eligible to apply.
